One year ago I bought my first fruit and vegetable juicer. It was another brand. The motor was only 400 Watts and after just one year the motor burned out. So this time I went for the 990 W model sold by Andrew James. The 990 W motor doesn't struggle to do its job like the 400 W motor on the other model did. Furthermore the size of the chute on this juicer is a lot bigger, so I can drop larger pieces of fruit and veg in there. It doesn't leak juice, like my first juicer did. It feels stable when in use, unlike the other one that shook and trembled. All in all I would say that if you are thinking of buying a juicer, buy a good one like this model; buying a 'cheap and cheerful' model is a false economy.
