How to process ginger powder
Step 1: Peel the ginger.
Step 2: Wash the ginger.
Step 3: Thinly slice the ginger.
Step 4: Layer the sliced ginger on a food dehydrator.
Step 5: Turn on the food dehydrator and dehydrate the ginger @ 105°F for 10hrs or dry under the sun until properly dried.
Step 6: Mill or blend the dried ginger chips into a fine powder. If using a blender, you might consider sieving the ginger twice until a fine powder is obtained.
Step 7: Store in a clean container and use when needed.
