Palm kernel fruit

This fruit is an edible seed derived from the oil palm tree. It yields two different oils namely; palm oil gotten from the outermost part of the fruit, and palm kernel oil obtained from the kernel. The fruit is usually boiled and squeezed with water to extract pulp which is used for cooking local stew, soup or any delicacy of choice.
