Putting this smoked salmon dish together isn't a difficult task at all and the combination of ingredients with the cooking method is also an easy one. Believe you me, the end result of this recipe was totally worth it and the taste couldn't have gotten any better.
An appetizing mixture of spices, coats the salmon which is layered on a melted butter before baking. Moreover, adding some lemon slices on the smoked salmon, makes the dish complete along with a glass of wine. I definitely loved how this smoked salmon recipe turned out and will obviously make more of it again!
The steps are very easy and you begin by cutting the salmon into small pieces, ensuring to de-bone it as well.
Add your spices of choice, honey and lemon juice in a clean plate and mix together.
Then use the mixture to coat the salmon.
Meanwhile, add two teaspoonful of butter in a baking tray.
Place the butter under 100oC oven and allow to melt.
Then add the salmon in the melted butter, place in a preheated oven and allow to cook for at least 45 mins under low heat.
Ensure to turn the salmon over to opposite sides occasionally for proper cooking.
Once the fish is properly cooked, bring out from oven and serve garnished with sliced lemon or as desired.
