I had some visitors last weekend and my friends asked if I would like to cook some spicy vegetable fried rice for lunch. They had eaten some fried rice I prepared for them in the past, which they enjoyed so they suggested that I give them some treats and prepare same again; they were right cos fried rice is one of my best dishes and I always ensure that I cook it right spot on!
Since I’ve not had the chance to cook some fried rice for couple of weeks now, I was really excited to use this chance and do so.
Cooking is one of my favourite things to do and I have a pretty set of routine that I usually follow; I start by making a list of the ingredients I have at hand that will fit into the meal I want to cook, usually looking for such ingredients that might catch my attention and last but not the least I just decide the recipe to go for.
I’ll admit that I’m usually interested in homemade meals because it allows me to understand the content of my meals and to try something new that I had never had before.
So back to this fabulous looking spicy vegetable fried rice, it is so hearty, delicious, fresh and makes a perfect lunch. It is packed with assorted vegetables such as carrots, green peas, onions, cauliflower, broccoli, spring onions and red bell peppers. This dish is just a perfect one for me cos its got everything I need.
To cut a long story short, this spicy vegetable fried rice turned out absolutely delicious, colourful and filled with intriguing aroma and flavourful combinations. It was just the perfect choice for my friends and family and made us all want to eat more quite often.
